Facial Rejuvenation

‘Japanese Lifting’ uses Japanese needles that are much finer and higher quality than Chinese needles. Japanese facial needles are specially designed, with a natural silicon coating, for minimalising any resistance on insertion that could cause discomfort or pain.

Most people have now heard of Chinese cosmetic “acupuncture face-lifting”, said to have been used by the Chinese since the Song Dynasty (960-1279AD). In Chinese, it is called “Me Rong Zhen”.

Studies published in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture in 1996 showed that: “…of 300 people who received Facial Acupuncture, 90% demonstrated marked results after only their first treatment.

How does it work?

Hair-thin needles are gently inserted into specific points on the face to facilitate the movement of blood and stimulate the production of collagen. This in turn nourishes, re-hydrates, tones and reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles. Fine Intradermal needles are used to naturally fill-in and soften lines. Gold Teishin needles are used to work with and soften any facial scaring

Treatments improve muscle tone and dermal contraction, increase collagen production, tightens pores, and increases local circulation of blood and lymph around the face. It can be used to reduce a double chin and sagging jowls, and can help to decrease inflammation, puffy or droopy eyelids.

The facial treatment is carried out after a whole body Toyohari ‘root’ treatment.
